I remember being completely captivated by its gardens, costumes and dreamlike atmosphere - it felt like stepping into another world.

Returning to the characters through drawing years later felt like rediscovering that same sense of wonder. There was something almost magical about sitting down with pencil crayons and becoming completely absorbed in the story once again.

For Oberon, I wanted to capture something regal, enigmatic and otherworldly. His portrait draws on the tradition of classical portraiture while allowing the texture, colour and expressive quality of pencil crayon to give the piece a softer, more contemporary character.

Part of an ongoing collection exploring A Midsummer Night’s Dream, alongside Titania, Puck and Hermia, with more characters to follow.

Print details

Premium Giclée printing

Printed on 315 gsm soft textured 100% cotton paper

Available in A5, A4 and A3

Print only - frame and mount/matting are not included

Carefully packaged to ensure it arrives safely

Please note: prints are dispatched separately from original artwork and cards, so if you order both prints and other products, they may arrive in separate parcels.
